Hi, friends! For the past two weeks, I’ve shown you what safari looks like. Ready to see another side of South Africa? This week, I’ll take you on an adventure in Tsitsikamma, where we’ll explore the National Park, Monkeyland, do a tree canopy ziplining, and dine at the unique Marilyn’s 60’s Diner. The Tsitsikamma forest is a part of the Garden Route National Park. You’ll find rivers, forests, mountains, gorges, and plantations. Bye Indiana Jones, hello Dora the Explorer! ๐๐ณ๐ When you travel to South Africa, make sure that you also explore the Garden Route and Fruit Route. There are so many things to see and experience in South Africa…

Safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa
Hi friends, thank you for reading this blog ๐ค Last week we saw what safari in a private game reserve looked like. This week, let’s explore the famous Kruger National Park in South Africa! If you think Botlierskop private game reserve is huge, wait until you see Kruger National Park. Did you know that this park is as big as Israel? With such a huge space, limited time, and hopefully, a stroke of luck, maybe you’ll see the Big 5 in one day. Or at least some of them. So, to minimise your disappointment, I strongly recommend you go for a full-day safari(s) when in Kruger National Park. I mean,…

Safari in Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, South Africa
Hi, guys! This week, let me take you to a beautiful private game reserve in South Africa: Botlierskop. While Kruger National Park makes you feel like Indiana Jones ready to explore the unexpected, Botlierskop offers different excitement. I was happy that my tour package included a 3-hour safari in Botlierskop, so I could experience both. A short safari here felt relaxing and very comfortable, thanks to the luxurious lounge, great services, and magnificent view of Outeniqua Mountains. Safari: Our Lucky Day in Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, South Africa Some of you may think that sitting on a jeep for three hours is a long time, but in fact, it’s pretty…

Safari & South Africa Budget Trip: How Much You Need
Hi friends, I’m back! After spending 14 days in South Africa, finally, I’m starting to get used to my normal routine. By the way, South Africa is FANTASTIC!! โค๏ธ๐คฉ๐ฏ Before I went on the trip, a friend told me that safari and South Africa were on his bucket list. He asked if I could share how much I spent for the trip, so he could create a savings plan to realise the dream. Talking about safari, I know many people associate it with Kenya and think that they need to spend a fortune for the trip. Actually, there are many parks in Africa where you can do game drives aka…

The Great Barcelona Day Trip
Is it weird writing about Barcelona day trip while listening to “Waka Waka” song? Well, that’s me, haha… I just can’t wait for my upcoming trip! ๐โจ Anyway, about the title of this week’s blog post. It was a great day for me because I felt so accomplished experiencing many things in one day. On my last day on tour, I had one whole free day to explore Barcelona. I maximised the opportunity to visit La Sagrada Familia, The Picasso Museum, Parc Gรผell, and La Rambla (revisitted). To end the day, I met the rest of the tour group in La Rambla then headed to a bar. You can imagine…

Brussels Trip and Classy, Sassy, Moxy Hotel
What would you do if you had one day in Brussels, Belgium? During my summer trip, my small group tour stayed for one night in Brussels. We didn’t do much but I’ll always remember the beer tasting and how stylish Moxy hotel were. We arrived in Brussels on the third day of the tour. Once we reached the destination, Aaron, my tour leader, went to get some tickets for us. I wasted no time to get myself a Belgium waffle while waiting for him ๐ It tasted good! I always like Belgium waffles because the dough is chewy. I wish they used fresh cherries, though. We checked into our hotels…

A Lovely Stay in Alpenrose Hotel and Gardens, Switzerland
I don’t usually write hotel reviews unless the stay was superb. Although I only had two nights in Switzerland, I really enjoyed my stay at Alpenrose Hotel and Gardens. But first, let me show you some photos of what boarding on a proper Swiss train looked like, the one that I enjoyed (not like the crowded one in the previous post) ๐ Alpenrose Hotel and Gardens is a unique, quaint, and charming hotel with its mini water fountain and gardens. If you wish to truly blend in with the natural vibe that this country offers, skip the modern-looking hotels and choose this one instead. Okay, let me show you my…
