I turned thirty-one last week!
I can’t believe that I’m now entering the world of the 30s. Before the clock turned 12 am, I read some health articles and advice for women in their 30s… Naah, I already read that last year, hehe!
Before the D-day, I went to the gym in the evening, had a light post-workout meal, and waited until 12 am so I could eat my birthday cake.
These are the things that I got for my birthday this year:
- Had a haircut
- Booked a trip to India for 2023
- Rescheduled my Japan trip to 2023
- Paid the last installment for my summer 2022 trip
- Bought return flight tickets for my summer trip
- Had all of my leave applications approved (thank you, manager!)
- Bought a pair of nice shoes that are not made for kids because the brand has my size (thank God for Clarks!!)
- Compiled all necessary documents and info for home quarantine in Malaysia, PCR test, everything travel-related
Aaand…. of course, a nice Italian birthday dinner!
P.S. thank you boss for the generous birthday ang pao!
In the evening, I had a small celebration at Roberto’s Osteria, one of the trendiest Italian restaurants in KL. The owner, Roberto Guiati, is an Italian restaurateur.
The chef of this restaurant is someone he personally knows and brings from Tuscany, their hometown. So, you could guess that the food here is amazing.
Since it’s my birthday and it’s an Italian restaurant, I wore what made me feel good. Oh, I miss dressing up and exploring Italy! 💖
“In America, people see me as somebody that’s very glamorous—but when I’m in Italy, all the women are like me.”
Lady Gaga about Italian glamour and House of Gucci, an interview with Elle
The food was really nice! And I like Bangsar area because it’s not crowded. The ambiance of the restaurant was also good. However, the table was quite small.
Btw, you need to make a reservation if you want to dine at Roberto’s 1020 Osteria because the restaurant is always full.
Grazie, thank you to everyone who reads my blog and sent me DMs or comments. Your action motivates me to keep writing 🙏🙏🙏
Have a great week ahead, friends! And remember, utilise all of your public holidays this year😊
