I failed. I’m sorry dear readers and friends, I declare that I failed in capturing the beauty of Bahia Palace and Marrakech souk in Morocco through my camera lens. At that time in 2015, I never dreamt of becoming a travel and finance blogger hence I didn’t really bother to take many beautiful photos of the sites. Furthermore… not to excuse myself, Moroccans do not like being photographed. Although I didn’t mean to focus on the locals, they seemed worried whenever I pointed to the camera. As a girl who wandered around the souk alone with a DSLR in her hands, I tried to be polite by not taking too…

Morocco: The Atlas Mountains, Todra Gorge and Sex & the City
Marhaba! I went to Morocco in 2015 but a few months before that, I decided to watch the Sex & the City 2 movie (I know I was five years too late!). Coincidentally, the second movie is filmed in Morocco! The entire movie had my jaws dropped and my eyes sparkled at how fabulous those women looked. I mean, the four of them walking into a room with THAT fashion sense will make any head turns. Therefore, inspired by the movie, I opened my wardrobe and mix ‘n match my clothes carefully so I would look at least 10% as fab as those women for my Moroccan trip. Of course,…

Hola, amigos! I’m so happy to know that many enjoy reading my previous blog post about Chefchaouen, Morocco. It is my pleasure to share what I have seen and experienced. I will share with you another part of Morocco in the next blog post. This time, I feel like sharing a personal view of life. If you have any opinions, please do not hesitate to comment. I’d like to hear and learn from you 🙂 Embrace the Silence and Listen to Your Inner Self I don’t know why I’m here and what I’m doing with my life. I guess it always occurs to me when December arrives. This sentimental feeling…

There are many speakeasies aka hidden bars in Malaysia. But what about a hidden museum located on the 1st floor of a boutique hotel in KL? If you’re a fan of photography, arts, or simply want to update your Instagram account, check out The Camera Museum at Gold 3 Boutique Hotel in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur! As a note, this isn’t a paid post 😉 How I Found the Hidden Camera Museum at Gold 3 Hotel, KL I never knew that there was a stylish and affordable boutique hotel in the alley of Bukit Bintang until my childhood friend messaged me on Instagram. Sorry Santa, I Ate Your Reindeer at Lappi Restaurant, Finland Before Christmas
Approaching the end of the year, the weather in Malaysia is hot and cold. Well, often cold as I’m sitting in the office with AC most of the time! As I walked passed by in Pasar Seni Kuala Lumpur a few days ago, I could see Christmas decorations in some of the shops. Oh, it’s almost that time of the year again! The cold weather and festive season remind me of my one-day experience in Helsinki, Finland, back in 2017. It was my first time in Finland and first-and-last experience trying reindeer meat at the famous Lappi Restaurant. Sorry Santa, I ate your reindeer at Lappi, Finland, before Christmas and…

The Investment That You May Overlook
What if I tell you that you can print money, legally? Your body is the machine, and you’re trading your energy, time and health for every batch of dollar, euro, or ringgit that you print. You’ll be fully investing yourself in the process. Will you sacrifice most of your energy, time and health to do it? Some people may do so because they’re worried that one day, the opportunity is gone. Although most of the time, it’s just people being kiasu… I once had the opportunity to achieve an unlimited bonus from a company that I worked for. Rooted in my passion for travel, I sacrificed a lot of things…

Apparently, Your Brain Decides If Your Travel Plan Will Come True
Some people often ask how I can persevere with my lifestyle for the sake of travelling. They may not realise that once the brain has decided, any travel plan will come true. Once the brain has decided, any travel plan will come trueBUT. You must make that travel plan A MUST In 2016, I ate the same food for lunch and skipped dinner for almost a year. Not something I encourage you to follow, though. In 2017, I wrote as many articles as I could in order to get a big bonus every month. Also, there were pros and cons to this. In 2018, I had the most short-planned trips…

Chinatown 2.0: Lorong Panggung Amps Up the KL Destination
Since I always take public transport, I often go to Pasar Seni (Central Market) bus hub. Although the location of the bus hub is very near to China Town, it’s been ages since the last time I visited the KL destination. So, last weekend my sister told me that there’s a hidden alley in Chinatown that would be one of the best hangout places in Kuala Lumpur. Apparently, a hidden alley just got a makeover earlier this year and it looks fabulously vintage! The makeover project dubbed Project Kwai Chai Hong has restored 10 shophouses and a laneway hidden between Lorong Panggung and Jalan Petaling. Let’s take a look at…
