Yesterday wasn’t one of the best days of my life, but there was a mixed feeling. At the same time, I had a lot of things to be grateful for!
So, I had an idea to write this post. Hopefully, it makes you feel better 🙂
Llama, Not Drama
Llamas and alpacas, I love them! They’re so cuddly and stare at you with an innocent expression. This cute pencil case with a giant zipper made me smile after I failed my exam.
It’s like a reminder not to sweat the small stuff or dwell on negative feelings, especially for something that you can fix. Also, when you’re surrounded by people who support you.
By the way, did you know that “drama llama” isn’t just a GIF or meme, but real slang in the dictionary? 😀
Drama llama – an overly dramatic person, or one who causes non-dramatic situations to become overly dramatic because they feel like everyone needs to be as dramatic as they are.

Llamas always look easy-going and happy, as if they take whatever happens in a day. Let whatever happened yesterday as yesterday’s story. Just focus on what you have to do today, including altering your mood.
Be like a llama (minus the drama).
Wait Until the Universe Surprises You
Ok, nobody can guarantee if his/her wishes will come true. But you can cultivate patience (without feeling desperate) and keep hoping until God or the Universe surprises you.
In my post last week, I shared my sadness about not being able to get a refund for my flight ticket. Guess what? A few days later, the airline cancelled the flight!!!
Imagine having your refund request declined by the airline
then a few days later you have a golden opportunity to get what you asked for.
I had already let the money go, but then the Universe surprised me. On top of that, I have a supportive client who’s been giving me a translation job. She’s been very understanding of my schedule.
Anything can happen, be patient.
But… if nothing happens, don’t feel sad. Maybe there’s a delay or it’s not meant to be.
This Comedy Movie
I don’t know what you’re struggling with now, but I know this movie can make you happy – even for a while.
The Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga is a very dramatic, comedy movie starring Will Ferrell, Rachel McAdams, Pierce Brosnan, Demi Lovato and previous Eurovision contestants.
It’s a very entertaining movie with some punches of life lessons, perfect for the unprecedented period.
It’s just a movie, but if you see what happened to the duo and how they fought ’till the end, I feel we should embrace the never-give-up Viking spirit.
This Creative Banner in Indonesia
My friend snapped this photo when he passed by a roadside eatery in Indonesia. It’s amusing because it’s Jackie Chan’s photo instead of the restaurant’s name, “Depot Andy-lau” lol…
But when we think from the marketing perspective, the banner certainly makes heads turn and ignites curiosity. I hope the business runs well!
Plus, I really like the caption that my friend writes.
People who are comfortable will never grow.
Calvin Hartono
People who are growing, they don’t feel comfortable.
Alright, that’s all I want to share this week! I hope this post makes you feel better. Have a great week, amigos!
